Justin got his first Patch and Other Stuff
The other day we were driving down the road Justin looked over and seen a truck that he liked. He said I like that truck...when are you going to get it for me!!! The kid has expensive taste already and we haven't busted the bubble telling him he needs a job yet. I hate to disappoint him at such an early age!
About a 1 1/2 weeks ago Justin did his memory verses and was able to earn his first AWANAs patch. Here he is proudly showing off his craft made of cheerios with his patch on his vest. Both Paul and I asked when we seen it how many he ate off of it? The funny thing Ryan walked into the kitchen for his breakfast and I guess it wasn't put on the table fast enough that he took the picture off of the refrigerator and was trying to pluck off the cheerios. I think he was a little disappointed that they wouldn't pop off so easy! These past couple of weeks Justin has been wanting to say our blessing and prayers at night all by himself. It is so sweet to hear him say them! On a side note Papa's name is Thomas and we are having trouble getting him to believe that is his name. Justin says he can't be a Thomas because he is not a train. Hmm....Papa has some big shoes to fill!
Also, Ryan has learned a new trick lately. He has the climbing on the couch mastered now all of a sudden he has decided that he can climb up on the coffee table and stand. He was caught dancing on the table without the lamp shade...wonder how long it will be before he gets to that. He has turned in to a big climber. The other day in the pack-n-play he climbed his way out of that just laughing and went on about his business like he never escaped. Here is a pic of Justin reading to Ryan...he sure looks up to his brother!
Other then that we all have been sick for the last couple of weeks. We have always taught the kids to share, but I think we can draw line at passing this back and forth. Also, my cousin Wendy who is due about a month before me. Her shower is coming up this weekend and here is a picture of the diaper wreath and the knitted items that I made. It's in transit to TN so keep your fingers crossed it makes it there safely and on time!

Congratulations on the patch Justin! That's wonderful. Such cute pictures. I love the one of Justin reading to Ryan on the couch. That's a nice shower wreath you made for your cousin. I bet she loved it!
