Mother's Day Fun

We had a wonderful Mother's Day!!! I woke up to a beautiful day and getting spoiled by my sweet guys. The kids got up early and climbed in bed with us to watch some cartoons and then Paul made breakfast for me - biscuits and eggs. How lucky was I to get a double-yoke on Mother's Day! When I was called in for breakfast each one of my guys had a bouquet of flowers for me and a gift bag. Justin had a Mother's Day coffee mug/socks; Ryan a glass dolphin/socks; and Darin a manicure set/socks! The mug got quickly used with my morning coffee and since I couldn't use the other gifts right away I wore two different socks and some crazy sandals to church. I wanted them to all know how much I loved everything. So the guys dressed me from the ankles down; I might have looked a little crazy, but I was such a proud Mommy! When we came home Mom and I were prepared a grilled feast from the men and then for dessert we were taken to Dairy Queen. We couldn't have asked for a better day! Thanks everyone for all my beautiful presents and everything too! Here are some pics from the day and the crazy socks!
The boys made a craft for Greenie which was a decorated box/spa set and a Heart with the kids handprints on it. Each one had a turn at painting and wearing it! I love hearing the laughs when I paint their hands to make the handprints and how they look at me like I am NUTS. I forgot to get a picture of the finished product. I think we were all having too much fun. Then we did the usual clean up with shaving cream!
Last week Ryan wasn't feeling very well so here is a picture of Justin taking care off his little brother. He wanted to make sure he was warm so he layered him with blankets and pillows! Here is a picture of Ryan. We all had been out playing pretty hard outside before we came in for lunch. We were eating and talking when we looked over and Ryan had totally crashed!!! We all thought that was so funny!
Justin was just silly one day when he got into the coat closet and came out sporting this number!
The boys are really starting to bond with their new brother. Justin will climb up to look in on him while Ryan is more direct and gets in the crib with Darin. It's so sweet how they look after Darin, but in my mind I am sure it won't be long they will be clobbering him too!
And on April 27th we celebrated our 7th anniversary in style. We had a shrimp appetizer with the boys as they had their early supper. Then when they went to bed we had our special meal and we even got to eat out! Well, it was on the front porch which we don't get to use as often as we would like it seems. Paul prepared us Steak and Lobster tails on the grill! Paul is really a Super Griller and I enjoy when he cooks!!! I'm one lucky lady!
Last week was Justin's awards ceremony for AWANAs and this week is Justin's last week where he will get everything. I will post pics from that soon!
