Justin has been wanting to learn to spell things and wants to learn to write his name. Last Sunday Greenie and Papa came over and he spelled his name for the first time correctly and clear for them. Then he clapped his hands and took a bow just like the ham he is! This week he did really good at AWANAs too. He had to learn three memory verses and some projects. I thought that was a lot of homework for a three year old and he surprised me of how quickly he picked them up. Even we had trouble keeping them straight.
This past weekend we had a lot of family fun together, which is always my favorite thing to do. We took the kids to a local craft store for Thomas the Tank day. Each of the boys got to decorate a wooden Thomas Train. Justin had a ball decorating, while Ryan just liked to hold his and make little noises. Then we surprised them with getting a Sand Table. Justin loves to dig in dirt; he is definitely all BOY and both will get a lot of use out of it!
Then Sunday we topped off a fun weekend by attending a Carnival at a local church and Greenie Papa met us there too. The kids had a blast. They enjoyed the moon bounce and the train ride. Justin said that was his favorite part; he absolutely loves trains. They actually rode their first pony ride too and neither one of them were scared. It was so sweet watching them and their faces light up. Just seeing them so happy and excited made my day. They even got to do the pick the duck game; Justin picked while it seems that Ryan wanted to play like the duck and stepped into the pond. Funny when I call him a little baby duck I didn't think he would take me serious. But a squishy wet shoe didn't slow him down!

Our little grandsons look so grown up! We are very proud of all of you. Sounds like they had a fun busy week. Love you guys! G&P
The pictures are so cute! You just want to give Ryan a big hug when you see his face when he was getting his hair cut. Poor guy. You wonder why they think it is so terrible. Nathan is the same way.
Justin is a hoot. I love that he took a bow after he spelled his name. That's adorable.
