Valentine's Day Fun

We all had a wonderful Valentine's Day and so much fun spending it as a family. I truly think that I never knew the true meaning of love until we had our children, so Valentine's Day wouldn't seem right unless we celebrated with them. When we woke up Paul and the boys had a secret mission that I was to know nothing about. What a beautiful surprise when I walked in to see each of my guys with a bouquet of flowers and a special gift. It was so sweet how each of them was so excited to give me their present first. Justin had a candle set, Ryan a picture frame and Darin had a Teddy Bear. When I set the table for dinner each of these special gifts made up the center piece. We did so many fun things; we started out with watching Space Buddies and a visit with Greenie and Papa. Then for dinner Paul made a nice steak and shrimp dinner, while the boys had hamburger steaks on their Lightning McQueen place settings. Afterwards we had a special dessert Justin had picked out. Then we played a game of indoor putt-putt through the house with toys set up for obstacles. For the last hole they got their Valentine’s Day treats in special heart bowls as they watched Charlie Brown’s Valentine special. The night ended with reading their books from Greenie and Papa and then the sugar crash….not a peep was heard til morning! How Lucky can a Girl be... (Looks like Darin was waving "HI".)
The other day Justin was playing in the living room and I could hear Ryan but could not find him at all. It took me several minutes to finally realize where he was…it seems his brother stuffed him under the couch and then decided to play hero to him. Now I have an easy way to clear dust bunnies! I remember one time when Justin was about the same age Paul was outside washing cars and I was in the kitchen. Justin was on the back of the couch looking out the window to daddy when all of a sudden he disappeared. He slipped behind the couch. Guess my furniture can do magic tricks after all! Here is Justin so proud of his 10 foot train puzzle he put together.
Does anyone think Ryan takes after Daddy???

Boys are growing and changing so fast! Love the pictures and Darin is in our prayers. We know God will bless him and he will be OK. It won't be long before he will be the one chasing. yelling and causing trouble. The fun of three boys (precious grandsons)!!!!! Love, Greenie and Papa
