It looks like Christmas...FINALLY!

Friday, Dec 12th, we celebrated Greenie's Birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Today is Darin's 1 month birthday already! He is up to 9 lbs now and growing so quickly. Here is a pic of him looking like why is there a tree in the middle of our house!
We finally got to decorate our Christmas tree last Wednesday night and our evening was topped off by a church group that visited us to sing Christmas Carols. We stepped out to listen to carolers that was visiting a neighbor. Then all of a sudden when they finished a little boy turned around and yelled "All right everyone across the street now". There must have been 30 + people that came over. Paul and I ran in to get the kids. They sang three Christmas carols and that truly topped off a perfect night. For the first time I didn't feel like I was behind on Christmas; it finally felt like this was Christmas and the true meaning. We thanked them for visiting us, but I'm not really sure if they knew how much we appreciated it and how they touched us!
Justin knows exactly what he wants for Christmas and he is looking forward to telling Santa soon. Justin has been explaining to Ryan how Santa will bring presents and put them under the tree. The other day I got Paul's present wrapped and under the tree when he woke up. He walked by and I heard a "OH...Mommy we need to speak about something seriously. Ugh..NOW!" He said Santa had been there and dropped something off. Perfect opportunity to remind him that you never know when Santa is watching so you have to be good. The other day Justin got in trouble. Imagine that one! He looks at me and says "Mommy, I don't understand why you get mad at me, since all my sins have been forgiven". Then he proceeded with quoting scripture to prove it. Ugh...parenting dilemma...What do you say to that one! (Speechless)
Today I took Justin out to do his shopping for everyone. I was so surprised of how much thought he took into picking out something for everyone even the dogs. When it was time to check out he placed the items on the counter. I lifted him up so he could pay his bill then he thanked the lady and wished her a Merry Christmas. I was so proud of him!

The other night Papa and Paul put up the Christmas lights so Santa won't miss our house. It has so many lights on it I don't think anyone living on Mars will miss it either. The lights this year blink to music...Oh yeah Griswold went all out this year! So if Santa don't miss our house he will surely have a migraine. I think I'll leave my meds out with his cookies this year. He'll definitely need them! Here is a picture of the disgruntled elves in front of the display. Even more have been added since. I'll post a picture when I can get Paul to stop them blinking long enough take it!
